ABOUT ME

I was bit by the travel bug early on in life when I went to Germany on a class trip in high school. I love to explore new places, no matter where they are. My favorite part of traveling is getting away from the tourists and actually imagining what it's like to live in the places I visit.
When I'm at home, I keep myself with plenty of activities...hiking, softball, sailing, catching live music, hanging out, etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few times now and each time has been a great experience. I love being able to give advice on the DC area and things to see. This area is filled with plenty of things to do and see, including some gems if you know where to look. (I think I have an inner tour guide in me just waiting for an opportunity).
I haven't yet surfed, but hope to change that soon!

Interests

Food, music (all varieties, but especially kinds that you can see live in smaller venues), hiking, camping, the outdoors in general, sailing, dancing...
