I'm 38, joyful, talkative, easygoing, sports-lover, friendly, outgoing. I'm single and live alone. Nevertheless, I've got a great deal of friends who somtimes drop by my flat to chat, see films, eat or drink out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I've just signed in, I haven't got any couchsurfing experiences at all. However, I've already hosted friends from other cities and even other countries (South Africa, for instance) in my place.

Interests

I love sports (football, surfing, martial arts), reading, travelling, going to the beaches, reading, watching films, eating out, dancing in nightclubs, chatting.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite films: City of God; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Sunset Boulevard. Music: I love reggae, soul (Amy Winehouse), jazz (Ella, Herbie Hancock), harcdore rock, Nirvana, some Brazilian samba singers such as Cartola, Chico Buarque, Tom Jobim. Books: Biographies, Philosophy (Heidegger), Comic-books (Calvin & Hobbes), novels (Coetzee, Saramago, Martin Amis), poetry (Hölderlin, Rimbaud, Wordsworth).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived for a year in London and for a couple of weeks in Freiburg, Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a professor but I don't know if have something to teach. I like to talk about Philosophy, Literature, travelling. I'd love showing São Paulo and other Brazilian cities (Rio de Janweiro for example) to foreigners. I'd like to learn about foreigners' everyday's life and other languages.
