About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently taking a bit of a career/study break and travelling with my boyfriend around Europe before I do an internship at a human rights ngo in London. We're looking at experiencing as much of Europe and hopefully the Middle East as possible:)
ABOUT ME
From Sydney in Australia, taking a break from what has been an intense last few years of managing full time work, part time study and the growing sense of lost freedom!
We are travelling for 12 months and are keen to see the world and have many interesting and awesome experiences while meeting new people.
We're pretty easy going, enjoy a good laugh and speak in funny Australian accents.
PHILOSOPHY
Will:
Be kind to others and remember that you're just a small part of the world, with the ability to influence it significantly for the better.
Penelope:
I guess try to be a good person and remain internally consistent with yourself. Don't take yourself or things too seriously, and enjoy and see humour in the little and big things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Will:
My favourite travel memories have been from my two visits to Japan, where I have been amazed by Japanese culture and the peaceful, respectful, way of life. These trips helped me to understand myself in a way, and opened my eyes to the importance of and human capacity for kindness in order to enrich the lives of others. Such small actions as a little bow to say hello to a stranger was heartwarming to receive and rewarding to give.
Penelope:
I've had a pretty lucky life. I really enjoy travelling and am so happy to be on the road again!
I've gone on uni exchanges to Istanbul, Turkey and Fort Collins, USA and have previously done an internship in Bangalore, India. I've really appreciated these opportunities because they allowed me to become part of a place for some time and allow me to make the friends that I have which gave me a deeper insight into those places and the people in them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Will:
I suppose I'm particularly useful in the living room, as I'm a big movie/football (soccer) buff and will happily engage in their conversation, with my specialty areas being 80's and 90's cinema/football trivia and classic match recollection. Another passion of mine is video games, and I can aid in their playing, 100%'ing, and chatting. I can also play the guitar and speak Mandarin, and would be pleased to impart such knowledge.
Penelope:
Umm I like having political conversations! I have excellent knowledge of celebrity gossip. If you want to know what some obscure celebrity did, I can help!
To be honest I'm not sure but I'm sure there's something that can be discovered!
