ABOUT ME

I am a super optimistic and easy going person who loves to make friends. I feel that my family and the people around me, which are friends for most of the time, are the sources that actually make me happy and full-fill my life : ) One thing is kind of weird about me is that I can live up on own life independently just by myself and also be very sociable when there is a group of folks; I can adapt to both of the extremes haha~

I grew up in Nanchang and Guangzhou, China when I was little. At the age of 12, my parents brought me to Houston, Texas for school and it was my first time to explore another culture. After a year and a half, I went back to China for Schooling and stay there for other 5 years. Now I come to US again and study in Seattle. However, my life experience has inspired me about exploring something new.

Because of that, I love travel definitely. I have been to serval places in China and US and truly feel that seeing something just keeping telling me how amazing different experiences can be! The memory and feelings from traveling just can't be described.
So, I ma just gonna keep on going and exploring the world~

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By a friend's recommendation. I have heard of couch surfing before but I have no idea this is that popular in the world currently.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience now. Pretty much a newbie here. We all have our first time doing any kind of the things, so I decide to try it by myself.

Movies:
I like watching movies and my favorite type is those that can got you thinking over and over again. LIke Inception, Wall-E. But I am also into other types. Such movies like: Pirates of Caribbean, Toy Story, Madagascar, Despicable me, The Matrix, The Bourne Identity
TV Shows:
I started watching TV shows since I was in middle school. I have watched Friends, Prison Break(the very first one I watch), How I Meet Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Community, Lie to Me, Homeland, Two Broke Girls, Dexter, House of card, Breaking bad and some others. I am still a big fan for shows
Books:
I like novel series like Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia and some other books about current education. (Education is one of my favorite topic )
Music:
I LOVE listening to music. When my mum got me an Ipod and a CD of Backstreet Boys when I was still in elementary school, I started to get into this. I listen very broadly, from hip-hop, pop, all the way to classical and I am kinda audiophile.
Like: Backstreet, Usher, Mariah Carey, Akon, Leona lewis, Eminem, Toni Braxton, Lil wayne, Flo-Rida, Gaga, Linkin Park, Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Christina Aguilera and much more on the list.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Leave my family and went study abroad alone at the age of 17

Got half-kicked out from host family after one month in US and started to find and set-up my own apartment and live by myself.
(This is one of the biggest incidents that happen to me. Actually all my 3 other roommates moved out within a month after I was gone and we used to talk about whether we should moved out together. It was a tough decision during a tough time. If you are interested, I will tell you more about this story. Just send me a text : )

Once on my way to classes, I saw a mother duck followed by a bunch of yellow ducklings were crossing the street. Just so adorable and warmed up my day!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach you Chinese. I love teaching others my own culture and I am the Chinese tutor in our school. I still felt a little sense of achievement after I helped a friend get a 4.0 in Chinese class :)

I can inform you about how to choose a headphone. I have gradually become and audiophile during previous years due to the reason that I love listening to music. I can absolutely help out with this.

I want to learn about the real, or I can say the true American culture and also how to make dessert. Especially about the dessert, I love them but I have have no Idea how their are made.
