About Me

"To seek out strange civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before..."

Hi Traveler,
People from Japan, Germany, Denmark, Holland, England, Mexico, France, and more have stayed in my home. I have a very large, beautiful home with swimming pool. Also, internet connection on my guest computer. Most guests sleep on my living room fold out couch bed (it's nice) or office floor. Because I am disabled (I use an electric wheelchair), I work out of my home office. I have a nurse and my 23-year-old son living in my home. If you want photos, contact my email.
Many famous sights are near my home. For example, within a 1-hour drive, you can visit Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, snow ski resorts, lakes for fishing or water skiing, Gold Rush country along 49 highway, and I am located 15 minutes from the Airport, Train and Bus stations, and 10 minutes from California State University of Fresno. The city bus stop is 1 km from my home. Also, Fresno is a huge agricultural city and offers the best that other big cities offer. The beach is about a 1 & ½ hour drive to famous Monterey Fish Aquarium.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will always do my best to be helpful before, during, and after visiting my home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn from guests what their life experience is like in their country. And, to expose my son to many world views rather than accept US News views of the world.

World travel after acquiring many connections here on couch surfing. Hopefully, my guests are willing to host me, or have advice for me when I travel through their country.

Music, Movies, and Books

All... Why limit oneself?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 15, I walked 100 miles in two weeks to sit atop the highest mountain (Mt. Whitney, CA) in America, excluding Alaska.
At the age of 18, I dove off a rock cliff into the depths of a life challenge and became a quadriplegic.
At the age of 24, I became aware of the "Great Mystery", i.e., a purpose given by God--not religion.

Teach, Learn, Share

Does matter truly exist?
If yes, I'm willing to share what "matter" I might possess in the form of shelter.
If no, I'm willing to share my spirit.

"To be or not to be..."
