About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to discover who I am and where I want to be, by discovering who you are and to see places I could never imagine.
ABOUT ME
From the autumn 2012 to the spring 2013 I will be a part of the program Communication for Change, a program arranged by the YWCA-YMCA of Norway. We are a group of about 30 youths, where 14 are Norwegians, and the rest are international. Our goal is to make a change in the world, by communicating between the different countries. We will build young leaders, be inspired by project visits, and learn other cultures. I will spend three weeks in Kenya at a preparation course, and then three months at Madagascar. I will come home for the Christmas holiday, and then I will attend Sunnmøre Folkehøgskole together with the rest of the group, where we among other things will go on a tour we have planned ourselves with the theme Stop Poverty. In addition to this, I will do a part time study at HiOA called Global ForstÃÂ¥else 1.
Iââ¬â¢m really looking forward to all the things I will learn, observe and be a part of this year.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a peaceful person, and I try to accept things as they are, and be happy for what I've got!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like meeting new people, and I think it would be great to host someone in my house! I think it's very interesting to meet people from an other culture, so this is a great opportunity for me! I also love travelling :) I would really like to go on a road trip or an interrail sometime! My dream is to pack a backpack, go to the main road in my town, and hitch hike wherever the cars will take me!
Interests
I'm inspired by the buddhism. After a five months stay in Malaysia living with buddhist families, I was infatuated by the religion. I can not call myself a buddhist yet, and I appreciate all regigions. I like doing yoga, coocking, going to concerts and hang out with friends.
