Latest movie that blew me away: The Secret Society of Fine Arts by Anders Rønnow Klarlund.

I'm also very interested in shorts and documentaries.

I love novels by Conan Doyle, Mark Twain, Hunter S. Thompson, Paul Auster, Patrick Neate, Hanif Kureishi, Jonathan Safran Foer, Clemens Meyer and Max Goldt.

All time favorites include Stevenson's Treasure Island, Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, McKay's Home to Harlem, Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, Garland's The Beach, Bukowski's Ham on Rye and last but not least, Mercier's Der Nachtzug nach Lissabon.

All time favorites include Ali Farka Touré, Mulatu Astatke, Toots and the Maytals, The Doors, Joy Division, The War on Drugs, The Make-Up, Wolf Parade, Timber Timbre, Beirut, Neu!, Console, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Pantha du Prince.

... oh, I forgot to mention: The Fleshtones and The Detroit Cobras!
