About Me

{Ben} Usually, we are travelling in couple... But not this time! Louise stays in France for her studies and I'm traveling in India for three months!
See you soon?

We are a french couple, Ben et Louise. We are together now since more than six years.
Ben is 35, he was working in an association of music, organizing concerts and festivals.
Louise is 29, she's making currently studies of social worker.
We both like travel and discover alternative way of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love Couchsurfing, it's an amazing opportunity to meet people living in the countries we visit, and thus better understand the lifestyles, the actuality, the culture of these different places. This is an incredible accelerator of understanding of the country!

We had already a lot of experience of Couchsurfing, specially during our long journey in China and Southeast Asia in 2012.
Before that, Louise had already practiced several times in his trip to Central America in 2008.

{Louise} My best experience of Couchsurfing was in Mexico. We spend ten days together with my host Ernesto who became a real good friend. He make me meet his friends, his familly, his food (what a wonderfull cooker!). It was an amazing introduction of the discover of the mexican culture and hospitality!

Travels of course! And meet people!
Obviously we like good music, good movies, good books, GOOD FOOD... So common!

Music, Movies, and Books

{Ben} Currently, I'm reading many books in relation with my indian trip: "The White Tiger" by Aravind Adiga, "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts, "A fine balance" by Rohinton Mistry and the list is not over...

In music, we have more international tastes: Billie Holiday, Ali Farka Touré, Serge Gainsbourg...
In movies, we have a preference for arthouse films, but we are definitely not exclusive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Difficult to answer this question! Perhaps the most extraordianires things are always those that await us in the future.
But celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dragon in Beijing, it was really, really incredible!
