About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To check everything off of my life to-do list, and meet as many interesting people on the way. Though, I don't technically have a "list" so I guess I really jusr want to live a full and exciting life while I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm from a small town in Canada amd I really want to see the rest of the world. I currently have no couch to offer, but I will be living on my own soon. I like to have as much fun as possible, and like it even more when there are people to have fun with me.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that since there is no way to really know the intended meaning of life (if such a thing does exist) I will just do my best to make myself and others happy while I am here. The things that make me happy are meeting people, partying, and partying with the people I meet. I just realized that sounds pretty two dimensional. haha. When I say partying, I don't mean always going to a club and getting so drunk you puke on some defenseless passer-by. Everyone has their own style, and it canm be the aforementioned partying, or maybe just sitting around in someone's living room, talking about eachother and learning from other people's way of thinking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to this, and I just moved out of my parents' house, and I'm curently travelling, so the only way I'm participating at this point is by staying on other people's couches. If you are someone who needs to improve your english, it's my first language, I love to teach, and all the people I've met so far say North Americans are much easier to understand, because we enunciate everything.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely none thus-far.

Interests

I am, by no standards, a sports fan, and I'm too much of a clutz for it anyways. I'm mostly interested in learning about other people and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- I love movies more than a person should I think. They're a lot better when the director/writer/whoever doesn't take themselves too seriously though, and throws the odd joke into even the most serious of movies. I love everything by Tarantino, Rodriguez, the Cohen Brothers, not to mention a huge score of other movies. I'm not that critical either, so it's pretty easy to please me with a movie.

Music - I'll give anything a chance. I mostly like rap (mainly the doors, snoop dogg, afro man, eminem, dr dre)and classic rock (the doors, led zeppelin, pink floyd) but I'll happily listen to anything, especially if other people seem to be really enjoying it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't lived very long yet, so I don't think I've seen the amazing things lots of others have, but one thing I absolutely love and I think will fascinate me forever is the Canadian wilderness. It's huge, beautiful and ridiculously diverse over the course of the huge country. If you weren't considering visiting Canada, I suggest you do, because it just straight-up rocks the shit. haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach, so this would be perfect if I knew more. haha. One thing I do have that many people I've met appreciate is clear english. It seems everyone wants to learn it. You'd have to ask me about other things I can teach. I'm not sure right now.

I would love to learn how to speak Italian (and improve my crappy French). They're both beautiful languages.

Countries I’ve Visited

United Kingdom, United States
