ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, very outgoing individual who is taking a year out of study to travel and work in different places around the world. So far I have spent three months travelling around the USA as well as working in a hotel in Austria for four months in a ski resort. The next leg of my travels will be with a friend through continental Europe, taking in Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Venice on route to Paris. We are two well mannered gap year students looking for any accommodation in the heart of the cities we are visiting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having spent way too much money on hostels and hotels throughout America and often feeling like we didn't 'meet the locals' enough, I want to try couch surfing to meet people from the cities we are visiting who know the best spots, to save money and to make the most of travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wilderness camping in the amazing Zion National Park, waking up and cooking bacon on a plateau looking down onto incredible red rock cliff faces and other people hundreds of metres below.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are both competent cooks and would love to share our favourite dishes as well as having a go at local specialties. My friend plays the guitar so is willing to entertain and teach hosts, he is also a professional rugby player. I am an amateur photographer and enjoy city life shots.
