About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel around the world to play Netrunner!

ABOUT ME

I'm the geeky guy with the hearty laughter. I always try to be there for my friends when they need me and they would probably say that I have an unlimited amount of patience (although it does run out sometimes). I like talking to people, getting to know how they see the world and what makes them tick and help them out in any way I can :)

PHILOSOPHY

Some thoughts I agree with:
- Laughter is the best medicine.
- Dancing sets you free.
- Sometimes you have to learn to run before you can learn to walk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My flat in Budapest isn't suitable for hosting people, but I'd gladly show the city or hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, I'm looking forward to the first surfing :)

Interests

Dancing is always the first thing that comes to my mind, I love it. Whether ballroom dancing, hip-hop, lindy hop or just going crazy, I'm always up for jumping around to music :)
Also, I'm a geek and proud of it. Not at engineering level, but I'm quick to understand IT related things, I constantly tinker with my gadgets and even held courses at my business school (and I'm probably one of the few people who use the terminal on a Mac :)).
Besides these, I really like teaching (seeing people understand something is really awesome), reading (books, comics), playing the guitar (I probably like playing it more than others do listening to it), doing graphics (I've been using Photoshop since I'm 12), hanging out with friends and generally anything that sounds like fun :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I love british comedy (basically grew up on Monthy Python and Rowan Atkinson), anything that's funny, absurd and/or cute. Favourites are Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrels and Snatch.
Music: I enjoy a really wide spectrum, from latin dance music through dubstep to nordic folk metal. It really depends on my mood.
Books: Anything from Neil Gaiman and Orson Scott Card, recently I read World War Z (and it was really good).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through Iceland (that place is seriously beautiful).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching, so a few things I can teach:
- Dancing (ballroom dancing, basics in lindy hop and swing)
- Geekery (Photoshop, Excel magic, using databases, Windows and Mac poweruser stuff)
- Playing the guitar (I don't know a lot of songs, but I can give a few tips on technique and show the basics)

Also, I'm a really, really bad cook, so I'm always open for any tips and tricks in the kitchen :)
