About Me

To enjoy things

Hi there, my name's Peter, fairly new to this website - I hope to make the most of being relatively young and traveling over the next few years, and luckily enough I'm around at the right time to be able to join Couchsurfing. This website is actually a little intimidating at first, having to have a 'complete profile' and references and everything or else you're done, but so far so good.

I'm not quite mature enough to have this sorted yet, although if I want to really impress people then I sometimes pretend I do. And when that happens I just say part of my philosophy is not talking about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I'm all take but there will be some giving back in the near future.

Not yet.

I like doing things at least once, latest thing is trying to be able to mix lots of different drinks. It's actually a lot harder trying to be a bartender than it seems at first, although I guess if you get a lot of practice then it becomes easier. Also acting, film camera work and film editing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure if this really counts as 'amazing', but I was driving a car once when the brakes failed suddenly.

Teach, Learn, Share

I once read that you're more likely to die of driving (not necessarily drunk) and eating red meat than of being mugged, being in an airplane crash/terrorism, and all those other scary things. Also, when you're a kid, how much television you watch/time you spend in front of the computer doesn't affect your grades or success in life.
