About Me

I gotta go somewhere .

I really like being surprised.

I think that means finding something new.

So I spend a lot of time searching for something that doesn't for me exist yet.

My favorite thing is to be barefoot in a sleeping bag in a tent for all the strange memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting and surfing:)

I must do more of both.

I've couchsurfed in Romania, Belgium, England, Amsterdam, Budapest and around America and have had a couple couchsurfers come to stay with me in Johannesburg.

I've couchsurfed without the site through at first strangers homes for over 2 solid years altogether.

I really like festivals. Most summers of the past years I've spent hitchhiking around and volunteering from one to the next.

I like drawing and doing weird things with code and math and building complicated machines out of lego.

This past while I've been learning a lot of weird things about music and nutrition.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of Murakami and Russian classics at the moment.

Piles of classic novels, psychology, semiotics.

I used to read every available waking moment.

I've liked and loved a lot of music from so many genres and music's taken me on me on so many crazy adventures and still does.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's so much:)

I'm quite a hardcore traveler. I started young, without any money, and spent years making my way around.

It's been a good life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Having a never to be used tin or 2 of beans buried in your backpack makes traveling rough way less stressful.

Being in the habit of smiling makes the world a better place.

Stuffing in 2 extra pairs of socks is almost always worth it.

If you're asking for directions asking 3 different for them before heading off almost always saves time.

If you're far away from home the only reason to be shy is when you really need caution. Or to be polite:) I talk to a lot of strangers.

Countries I’ve Visited
