Hello! My name is Pat! ^o^ I am doing second year undergraduate at Cambridge University. I love stargazing so much and really enjoy reading about stars stories - their tales, greek myth and the constellation. I also have a (somewhat full-time) hobby learning about finance and technology because all of them are cutting edge and awe-inspiring to follow. I enjoy 1-1 conversation, eating, cooking (turning pro soon :D), music and travelling and photography!! One of my dream is to travel around the world and meet new people in different culture. I have my own DSLR camera to capture moments but now I'm turning to my iPhone selfie stick instead ;D. I also play guitar as my another hobby. I think to play guitar and sing along with friends really makes a small party perfect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Awwww As I said, one of my dream is to meet and get to know people around the world. Every culture is every country or even city has its own uniqueness which is such a beautiful thing to explore. I heard from my cousin who is a backpacker that CS is a perfect place to find people like us. I would love to meet new FRIENDS and travel the world like a local, not a traveller. Friendship is worthwhile to me and I believe there are plenty of it here, waiting for us to explore!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, especially classical music and pop. I play guitar, both string and classic. They are different mood, never the same and can't replace one another just like us. I do some dancing as well, it's fun and we can control our muscle and position.
I watch movies, but a little. Mostly I like family movies (haha) like Frozen, Brave, Beauty and the Beast. > <
And I read a lot of books, well textbooks too but I like self-development books and famous people around the world. I think it gives me insight to what successful people do and how I can follow that in my own way. It's fun to see yourself growing everyday and beat your yesterday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ohhhh everyday is an amazing day! I would talk about my experience of feeding elephants (haha). Some of you might think it's easy but not for me. I was in Thailand when I was young so my parents took me to the elephant village to see elephants. At first I don't think feeding this creature is difficult but after having a cucumber on my hand and one of their trunks is coming to my way. I don't know how to feed it, it's not the same as feeding dogs and cats! My hand shook but the elephant owner said just put it in his mouth (end of his trunk). I held one end of the cucumber and the elephant took the other end with his trunk touching my hand. It's wet and soft and !(#@)(&$)#(*$_#($_)(@_#$_$*!^!*#&$%. Well, it's a good experience for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well,. . . haha, I want to do Bungee jump but I haven't. The most exciting thing for me is to start my own little shop online. It was my first time that I dare to do something myself and don't want to tell my family because they might be worried about me. So, I launched my online shop and guess what, .. it's going so well. I can't believe that and so happy to do it successful first time (well, sacrifice by hard work, study the business, a little stress and time management) but really worth it! If you want to start doing something, don't wait! The day you're ready is not going to come, you gonna have to do it now and the result will be at least you learn something. ;D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would say, friendship, food, culture, chat, photos, .. some more. Mostly, we all have different background, culture and experiences. Each one of us can share this to other people and it definitely do good to them because we get to see the world in other people's perspective which is very interesting. I think the world is just the way we look at it and we can find good in everyday, at least the fact that we wake up with another day of life and have a chance to make it better one every morning. :D
