About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world, expanding my horizons, meeting new people of all kinds, and having weird and crazy experiences and adventures until I just can't do it anymore.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very easy-going person who loves to either go with the flow or go off on my own, but either way I am always looking to interact with interesting people, learn new things, have unique experiences and crazy adventures. I love to be on the move, but I also am really good at just sitting still and relaxing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to Couchsurfing, and am really excited to meet new people through this site!

Interests

I have a lot of interests, but primarily I love traveling, challenging myself physically and mentally, being scared, movies, reading, anything having to do with water (scuba, swimming, beaches, snorkeling, etc.), anything outdoors, the stars, pedestrian science, and I really, really love food.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite author is Haruki Murakami. I love Cloud Atlas. I get really nerdy about A Song of Ice and Fire books.

Music is mostly indie and European pop, but I'll listen to whatever. I love going to shows.

I like pretty much all sci-fi and horror movies, but love all kinds of other movies, especially weird ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done for myself is go on a mission to conquer my fears one at a time. I got over my fear of spiders. I got over my debilitating fear of water. I seriously went from panic attacks in deep water to being a scuba instructor, which I'm pretty proud of myself for. I'm basically over my fear of heights, although I need a few more bungee jumps, and a sky dive or two to seal the deal. So, now I'm moving on to other fears, like rejection and being vulnerable.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a really easy-going person who is pretty much down for whatever, whenever.

I can be along for the ride, but can also take care of myself.

In general, I like to think that I'm a centered, decently educated (for an american anyway) person who is easy to get along with, and I am always looking to meet new people and have interesting conversations and experiences.

I also love adventure, so if there's that one thing you've been wanting to try but are unsure or haven't gotten around to it, I'm game.
