Always breaking out from daily routine.
I do not really like self descriptions, so don't worry if you don't get all the information you want. I think I am an acceptable host and an open-minded guest. I like to cook, to get to know good people and discover local culture and different mentalities. I'm volunteering for Engineers without borders and in a youth participation project.
Try to live your life in a way that you don't have to fear looking into a mirror.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Offering my couch to....if anyone wants to visit this beautiful town. ;) Got involved in some CS community events a few years ago. And spreading the word whenever I can.
Experienced in spending nights at railway stations and other public places, but definitely prefering a couch. Quite a bit of 'official' CS experiences, but several spontaneous surfs in France, Spain, Netherlands, USA and Germany, too, as well as with people crashed at my place.
Well, unfortunately I got addicted to football (the European one), photography and traveling - three interests that create a lot of holes in my wallet and schedule. Nowadays I also got into brewing. If you are lucky and arrive at the right time, you might have a try :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Current Music Favourites: Süperstar Orkestar, The Redskins, Carbon/Silicon, Eläkeläiset, Mono&Nikitaman, Gogol Bordello, Cock Sparrer, Emir Kusturica and the No Smoking Orchestra, Anamanaguchi, Nouvelle Vague, Kultur Shock, LaBrassBanda, Bonaparte and Walter Kubiczecks soundtrack of "Das Unsichtbare Visier"....by the way this a series of great Bond-like TV films from GDR time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping on the roof of the Santiago church in Logroño/Spain. Having had a great view over the city, lots of fireworks and a rude awakening, cause the church bells were directly below us...
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a good overview about public transportation in Germany and on the Balkan. Think I could be able to share this. Well, and in beer-related topics (e.g. drinking, brewing), I should be able to share some knowledge as well. ;)
