About Me

Currently never got out of Europe, I want to travel all over the world, and possibly learn to speak (all) foreign languages and meet people from different horizons. At the moment, I am traveling with my girlfriend Margaux who speaks french and english, and also wants to see the world in a different angle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lots of friends have advised me to join Couchsurfing as a means of traveling without worrying so much about hotels and a great way to meet new people and get fresh information about the countries you visit. As my principal aim in life is to travel, I thought it was indispensable to join this community.

Interests

I principally love cooking, gardening and listening to music. I manage a blog about free music which you can check out here : http://mojoteque.blogspot.be a great way to discover new artists.

I cook vegetarian dishes, a bit of everything in the dessert world, soups, among other things.

I like to go out in bars to have a good drink, or in parties wherever they are.

I also like to speak about all kinds of subjects, music, local and alternative culture, a little bit of politics if ever needed, education, worldwide issues etc. etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't like to say I have a favourite among music, movies and books, but those I really enjoy are Bluetech, Ochre, Led Zeppelin, Supertramp, Queen and Black Sabbath, among others, for the music.

As for the movies, I really liked the first Star Wars trilogy, Interstellar, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Wayne's World, The Big Lebowski (in fact all the films by the Cohen brothers)...

My favourite books are of the sci-fi genre. I really liked all the books from Isaac Asimov and Philip K. Dick. I also enjoy the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Tolkien.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived this far

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to learn a lot about the local and alternative culture of the countries I visit. I can offer a bit of knowledge about Belgium, even if there is not so much to know apart from fries and waffles. If ever someone wants to learn about french, I can tell them everything there is to know, all the typical sentences you need to go in a french-speaking country and such...

What I Can Share with Hosts

In Belgium there are lots of parties, I can show the hosts the means to get there and have a good time, I know the places that attract most tourists so I can direct them. I don't live alone but with my brother and two friends, so we'll share our stories and a good deal of good mood !
