To continuously outdo myself.
By day I'm a public servant with the New Zealand government, and by night I'm often an improviser with the Wellington Improvisation Troupe (www.wit.org.nz). I'm exceptionally easy to get along with, and am also an excellent cook.
Life's too short to eat bad food. 'Food' might also extend to other elements of one's life, such as experiences, travel, and love. Basically don't settle for something you don't enjoy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm just starting out on my travels around Europe, and I'm looking forward to meeting many interesting people from all walks of life, so I expect to participate fully in this project, in both the provision and acceptance of couches to surf on.
I have yet to surf any couches, as I've only just joined. However I have heard many good things about this project from many good people.
Improvised theatre (mainly comedy), cooking, and now travelling! I really love meeting new people, and can survive in both the social and solitary environments quite well.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite movies of all time:
Singing in the Rain
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
The Princess Bride
Little Shop of Horrors (the musical)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So far it's pretty much anything so far on my trip around Europe. Visiting Grundsund in Sweden was beautiful though!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty good cook. And while NZ doesn't really have much in the way of a 'national dish', I will be happy to help cook with/for you, and maybe share some of the things I have learned over the years.
