About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Quarks are only sharply defined when consistantly on the move...

ABOUT ME

A wee bit sardonic, and bit more than a dash of sarcastic, and a fat, wedgey slice of witty, my favourite things to do is travel, converse, and explore culinary delights.

PHILOSOPHY

Anything and everything. I have some of the most random thoughts, and most of them quite hilarious, others epiphanies, but incredible thoughts. My dreams are the same way. I love my brain. My thoughts are the thing I love the most about myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always down for a good party with great conversations, so CS gatherings are always fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Currently my couch surfing experience has been hanging out with friends that happen to be couch surfers, so going to parties for CS, but not actually being a member...
I'm hoping to change that by actually couch surfing myself soon!

Interests

Food is one of the best ways to show that you love and care for someone, because you are giving them something that will sustain their life, and doing it in a way that derives pleasure. I love food, and I travel the world to find new and amazing tastes. I experiment in my kitchen all the time, trying to make recipes more incredible, and more healthy. I'm always looking for ways to make a technique easier for a novice, while still satisfying a gourmand's discerning palette.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books cannot be pin-pointed. I'm sorry, but no. I like books that make you change your perspective of the world, that are well researched, and the author has an in depth knowledge of all the truths and "laws of physics" that their world is made up in. Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Historical fiction, Biographies, Crime, Psychology.
Movies follow the same suit, though I am a sucker for all things horror films. I don't get scared often, but I love watching what people find scary. It gives a wonderful in-depth understanding of a culture's psychology to see what scares them, and then see how they deal with that (e.g. religion).
I tend to watch more BBC shows (bring on the Doctor Who!) than American shows, just because the costuming and the writing, and cinematography tends to be much better. There are a few exceptions, like Bones and Big Bang Theory. Other than that, I don't really watch TV.
Music leads to dancing, and dancing is one of the most wonderful things to do, outside of eating. So naturally the music that I gravitate towards is music that moves me. I love going to concerts, and I absolutely love going to the Opera, ballet, and symphony.
