I kinda like to bounce around and do different things. I did a bit of engineering, entrepreneurship, programming, teaching, academic work, and quite a few other things in my life. I'm also a dad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel a fair bit. I prefer staying with people to hotels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly read non-fiction. Mostly lots of books on schools and education these days. I'm currently reading accounts of several of the counterculture schools that evolved in the US in the sixties. Most of these didn't work well, but a few did, and I'm trying to figure out which pieces could be integrated in 2017.
