Interests

Reading - I read passionately and as much as I can. If I had to choose a favourite genre it would probably be fantasy, but I am open to all good literature, from Dostoyevski to Mann, and from Irving to Kundera.

Music - I'm a big fan of alternative rock. If I'd like to name my favourite bands, I'd probably finish tomorrow. Just a few to give you the idea: The National, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Slowdive, Ride, Pulp, Blur, Pixies, Low, Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, The Verve, Suede, and so on.

Movies - big fan as well. Favourite directors? Here you go: Jim Sheridan, Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu, David Fincher, Christopher Nolan, Neil Jordan, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and many many others.

TV series - My wife and me are both hopelessely addicted to a great number of amazing TV shows (a few we - or one of us - love the most: Firefly, Shameless US, Sherlock, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Rome, The Big Bang Theory, The Good Wife, Game of Thrones, and loads of others I'm afraid.

Sports - In my case it's especially football (soccer - for Americans) and tennis, for my wife - running (and she runs, not just watches it on TV, she has already made her first marathon!)

Kids - Yes, we can talk about our preciousss all the time. :)
