To make the most of my time in London and meet new and different people.
I am from a land forign to London in many ways. It's called Kent and it's inbetween London and France. In Kent we have trees, people that say 'hello' to strangers, fresh air, water you can drink and something called pikies. Anyway I have found myself working in central London Monday to Thursday
I respect what people see as personally sacred; this can range to a devotion to a football team or their religion. However, my personal philosophy is to rejoice in whatever makes you happy. I think that when you get to the pearly gates and st peter is there. instead of asking "what good you've done in life", he will probably say "how many times did you laugh, how many boobies did you see?" and those with the highest score did the best at life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a full house at the moment although I may have a spare room coming up. But mostly I am working till 8pm and have to be at work for 7.30am. So I have a choice. Either travel 4hours a day or crash somewhere in London. I am currently staying in hostels but it would be nice visit real people also. I won't be up for late ones, but i'm up for being sociable until pub closing.
Only with friends I'm afraid.
I love comedy. More specifically your Doug Stanhope's and Bill Hicks over you Michael Macintyre's. I like to have a go on open mic nights. My first time is documented on youtube.
- pub crawls
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: At the moment I'm reading a book by Stuart Lee. Favourites include Ben Elton, James Fray, Phill Jung and Mark Thomas.
Music: screaming base music to metal. All music really, but there is two types of music I don't like - country and Weston.
Movies: Fight Club, Star Wars, Any Kevin Smith film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I know the secret to happiness.
Built a bar in my attic which now has it's own land lord.
Teach, Learn, Share
Again we are all students of life. I'm a great believer in teaching other means you learn twice.
