ABOUT ME

All about us!
Welcome, we are Miriam, Thomas, Rick, Merel and Marieke. We're from Almelo, the Netherlands. We're members of scouting since we were very young. Since a couple of years we all go camping together. We've been to The Veluwe (Netherlands), Antwerpen (Belgium), Luxembourg, Trier (Germany), Praha (Czech Republic) and this year we're going to Sziget and Hungary! Last year we borrowed the car from Marieke's parents. Unfortunately we crashed with it :( This time we're trying to do everything by public transport. Unfortunately that means that we're very dependent on this transport. :( We won't be able to go outside Budapest on our first night, so we need a place to stay. That's why we became members of this wonderful project.
Short: we need a place to stay, for 1 night, in Budapest, 31 july - 1 august.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, at the moment we're only going to surf. But in autumn, one of us is going to open up their home to couchsurfers! In Nijmegen there will be a new place to stay :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have never done this before, so we're very curious of course! Do you have any good tips for us?

Interests

Scouting of course! And the rest is so diverse, I shall briefly try to mention a few things (some of us like this, but not all): reading, watching movies, trying to say things in different languages and completely messing it up, making fires (safe of course), reading (Terry Pratchett), dancing, having fun together, and going on scouting trips!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every year we do a hike together, the winterhike. And every year we're getting better at it!
