ABOUT ME

I am a graphic artist/illustrator, studying landscape painting. I work primarily in the defense sector as a consultant helping them with marketing and proposal graphics. I grew up in LA but lived in the Midwest (St. Louis and Kansas City, MO), the South East (Richmond, VA), and the East (Rochester, NY; Washington, DC; Pennsylvania). The glorious California weather called me back, and I don't ever want to leave! I have been into New Age philosophy and Metaphysics for about 24 years now, and love it. I am mostly into the Law of Attraction materials now--like in the movie The Secret, but deeper. Nothing weird. It makes me happy. I'm into yoga right now because it helps me stay centered, keeps my back and body in shape, helps me feel better, and for the community. I love movies, but try to focus one ones that make me happy. I can't always handle the really dark stuff.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this. I am just coming off of 8 months of being underemployed--that means I've been making a living consulting, but not thriving (i.e. paying off debt and traveling). I would like to meet other people and I enjoy hosting/showing people my great city. My primary goal, in all honesty, is to affordably get to some cities for some classes to help me in the next step of my career.
