About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do whatever the hell it is I am suppose to be doing
ABOUT ME

So far (this trip): Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Nepal, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana Next: Turkey.
PHILOSOPHY
I must defer to Mahatama Gandhi on this one: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just began surfing over the past year or so. So far so good.
Interests
I suppose it would be redundant to mention my love of travel. Experience as much as possible. Scare the hell out of myself. My current hobby is photography. Today's technology affords any yahoo (i.e. me) the opportunity to take decent photographs. Meeting new people, learning all I can about the world and all of its mind boggling complexity (and its equally stupefying simplicity), trying to savor every moment as it unfolds without letting it slip through my fingers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Shawshank Redemption is a cinematic masterpiece. If I have a favorite movie that would be it. I do enjoy reading. Two thought provoking books I thoroughly enjoyed are Freakonomics and Super Freakonomics by Stephen Dubner and Stephen Levitt. Highly recommended. One of my favorite albums is Live at Luther College by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Those two are amazing together.
