About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to put myself in new situations and expand my comfort zone

ABOUT ME

My name is Patrick and I want to get a glimpse into every corner of the planet. I'm on my way making that happen! I studied engineering and I'm currently working, but I'm always thinking about the next place I'll fly to.

PHILOSOPHY

Take it easy, don't let the little things get to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has opened up the warm and amazing local prespective of every city I've been a guest in. Some of the greatest memories I have from my travels were made with people I met on this site.

Interests

I like playing sports such as squash, golf, skiing (xc and downhill), I love getting into new music and seeing live shows, and I'm just getting into photography. I am also interested in politics and learning about anything and everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving along Pacific Coast Highway 1 in California and seeing the cliffs and ocean put me in a state of awe where I could feel every heart beat.

China! The beautiful landscapes and rice terraces of rural Guangxi and Yunnan, the strange western/eastern fusion and fast-paced intensity that is Hong Kong, and the curiosity and unique perspective of the Chinese people.

India! It's a mix of everything, good and bad, right before your eyes every day. There is no place like it, and it left me with some incredible memories that I will always cherish.

Hiking the Himalayas for 9 days was the most peaceful and beautiful experiences in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best part of traveling for me is learning about the different ways of life in a new country, and the best way to learn that is from a local person. This is why I love couchsurfing!
