About Me
Poly - A Passionate Traveller and Dedicated Social Worker
Hello there! I'm Poly, a spirited wanderer driven by my love for exploring new horizons and a deep-rooted passion for making a positive impact on society. Originally hailing from the enchanting Idukki district of Kerala, I currently find myself immersed in the vibrant city of Kochi, where I work with a remarkable NGO.
For the past decade, I have embarked on numerous solo adventures across India and beyond, seeking to unravel the rich tapestry of cultures, encounter extraordinary individuals, delve into captivating histories, and savor the diverse culinary delights that each destination has to offer. With every journey, I have been fortunate enough to collect a treasure trove of unforgettable memories and heartfelt connections, which I carry with me wherever I roam.
Having traversed 28 Indian states and ventured into the depths of five countries, my travel experiences have fueled my desire to foster positive change in the world. Embracing my role as a social worker, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, working tirelessly to uplift communities and champion social justice causes.
Now, as a member of the Couchsurfing community, I am excited to embark on this new chapter of my travel adventures. I eagerly look forward to sharing my passion, stories, and love with fellow travelers and locals alike, as we come together to forge connections, exchange cultural insights, and create lasting memories.
If you're open to hosting an enthusiastic explorer and passionate advocate for social change, I would be absolutely thrilled to meet you and experience the authentic spirit of your city through your eyes. Let's come together, learn from one another, and celebrate the beauty of human connection.
Wander with me, and let's make a difference, one couch at a time!
