Non smoker, retired, divorced, keen cyclist.
Like to cook, enjoy a glass of wine (red or white).
Trying to learn a little French so I can converse when I ride in France. I currently have what I call "survival French", just enough to get meal and a bed.

I know this sounds corny, but it's true. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As cyclist, I have met many people on the road, who have shared their homes with me, and I would like to return the favor.

Interests

Love bicycling,old cars,and golf. Spend 6 months in Canada (unless I'm cycling somewhere) and 6 months in Florida. Always up for a new experience, or new adventure. Never want to say "should have done that when I could have".

Music, Movies, and Books

Smooth Jazz and country music are my favorites, but I listen to it all, except heavy metal. Prefer to read mysteries, and of course, the morning paper.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungy jumped 229 feet in New Zealand. Did a full Ironman at age 62 (now 70 but feel 40) Just finished 2 weeks rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon (280 miles) In 2010 hope to cycle one of the previous routes of Le Tour de France.
