About Me

Stay in the now, and just be

Am a mystery even to myself, you can find out more when we meet or write.

This is the kind of thing hungarians like to discuss over a few drinks. However, I do believe in the law of attraction and try to keep things positive. I also think we are here to constantly develop and evolve. Keep moving on and up!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

..it would be nice if more people hosted me in the times to come .

Life, creation, most things in it. Music of all kinds, art, nature, beautiful landscapes, trees, water. Original punk. Positive people, old and young. All animals, especially pussycats. Theatre, cabaret, comedy. Good food, trying new dishes (mainly vegetarian) Icecream. Funfairs. Incense and lovely smells...flowers, fresh grass, cinammon, jasmine, freshly washed hair.... Seeing new places. Sport - Yoga, swimming, and shaolin kung fu being my personal faves. Oh and Dancing ...naked in the moonlight during a tropical rainstorm .....:-)

Music, Movies & Books

www.tilos.hu (90.3fm)is an independent radio I work for in Budapest,Hungary and is also my favourite radio. But I like radio in general, more independent frequencies please!I have completely eclectic taste in music, but definately move towards the underground. Ive been collecting for over 20 years and still love the smell of fresh vinyl.mmmm
There are so many good books and authors and im completely addicted to reading but heres some of my favourites: "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. "Under the frog" by Tibor Fischer and "My happy days in hell" by George Faludy are brilliant books and a must for anyone who wants to know what went on in Hungary (under communism) before the iron curtain fell. Benjamin Zephaniahs poems and stories are easy and fun with the occasional tragic twist as in "Refugee boy". I like hearing, reading and writing poetry, look out for live readings on my radio show.
Im drawn to the independent/underground in the film world as in music. Shock corridor by Samuel Fuller is one of the alltime greats. Mike Leigh is a genius. Jim Jarmusch is my absolute Soulmate. I love old black and white films, especially musicals. I like going to see lowbudget new stuff by unknown directors too. I love films like "Rock n Roll Swindle", "24 hour party people" , or "Control" about Ian Curtis and Joy Division. The last film I enjoyed was probably the best I saw recently :-)
