About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a favorite coffee shop in every city that I visit.

ABOUT ME

American living a mostly expat life. I'm at uni in England and am currently on my year abroad - which means a move back to France! I lived in Rennes for a year in high school (SYA) and am now on an Erasmus exchange in Paris. Love anything artistic, traveling, writing, cooking. Yoga, the outdoors, watching football (soccer). Walked 1400 kilometres on the Camino de Santiago this past fall. I love browsing old bookshops, listening to records, making a great cup of coffee.

PHILOSOPHY

Take risks, respect common decency, be open minded, and don't be an idiot. no one actually really knows what they're doing.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't done anything, as of yet!

Interests

cooking, theatre, wine, writing, music, the outdoors, french, fashion, literature, art...
amazing travel with good friends (old and new).
getting lost and finding something amazing without trying to.

Music, Movies & Books

Favorite movies are Casablanca and Singing in the Rain
Favorite books - To the Lighthouse, Pride and Prejudice, Le Petit Prince, Love in the Time of Cholera, Lorca
Music - everything. typical Seattle indie-ish stuff, but current jam is Manu Chao. Will never say no to some Pink Floyd.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Street party in Siena - traveling with friends I'd just met, encountered a huge street party that went all night. Costumes (the theme was heaven and hell), vats of free wine, music, dancing - everyone was there, from kids to grandparents.

Camino de Santiago - best thing I've ever done. A great reminder of what really matters and the general goodness of people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you French or English, share my knowledge of theatre/musicals, and modernism (lit and art). I'd be happy to share my cooking skills - a mushroom quiche, tarte aux pommes, crepes, tortilla de patatas? Will cook in exchange for doing the dishes.

I would love to learn another language, travel must-do's...anything you feel is worth sharing.

Countries I've Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Spain, Turkey

Countries I've Lived In
