Orange County Bridge to Engineering (B2E) Program
• Actively participating in the third B2E cohort at Santa Ana College to prepare to pursue an engineering degree at a four year university.
• Participate in accelerated math course to advance into major preparation coursework.
• Attend monthly engineering panels, workshops and University tours
• Consult with program counselor once a semester to update educational plan in preparation to transfer to UC
• Attend meetings with program coordinator to discuss program expectations and progress.
NCAS (NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars)
• Learned about past, present, and future mars missions
• Participated in interactive web based activities with participants and NASA Engineers across the country
• Created a concept and developed a Mars Mission Proposal
• Designed a 3D Model of Mars Rover using programs such as Sketch-Up and Autodesk123d
MESA (Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement)
• Assistance in the transfer process. MESA provides counseling, workshops and visits to four-year universities.
