About Me

I am addicted to positive vibes, intellectual conversations, travelling, exploring, learning about new cultures, meeting new people, and making new friends. I am originally from India, moved to the US in 2012 for my PhD. I recently moved to Oak Ridge for work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore around the globe, make new friends, learn about other cultures and other beautiful places from the locals and share with them the knowledge I have about my culture and create beautiful memories. Also, I would love to host whenever I can and help the newcomers or travelers in this town and make their lives easier.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Danced on a song in the middle of a crowded street in Atlantic city, USA. Many people stopped by to see my "performance".

I went sky diving in 2013. I must admit that I was super scared before the jump but would totally do it again!

Also, I went for a backpacking trip in Pine mountains which is a part of the Appalachian trail, hiked for about 20-25 miles in those ranges with a 25 lb backpack on my back. I will always cherish those memories!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Hindi language, Indian culture, spicy Indian cuisines.
Learn: Other languages, Other cultures
Share: Food, knowledge, stories, fun facts, dance (a bad one on my side), book recommendations.
I am always up for good intellectual conversations, mind boggling questions, some interesting ideas to improve the society, how weird and yet how beautiful science and nature are. I can be the person if you want to talk about all of these over a beer. I always think about how wonderful it would be if we combine two different fields of study. We could come up with a new idea or some new concept if we try to combine your field and my field of study during our conversations.;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Indian food, good intellectual conversations, few jokes, explorations of the hiking trails nearby, my weird and quirky ideas ( a lot of what if questions!).

So let's gogh out! We won't spend a lot of monet but we'll Picasso phisticated place with dalicious food and good beer.
