I want to meet new people and get a more authentic experience rather than hanging out with tourists in hostels. Im pretty versatile and want to make the most out of every situation.
Hi, I'm just your typical 30 something nomadic American girl. I have been living on and off in Melbourne for over eight years with stretches of time in India, Europe, SE Asia and a little time back stateside.
I used to work in the music industry in the states. Ive also worked and lived in Europe and hope to be able to continue traveling and seeing the world for as long as possible. I like to find myself in unique situations and Im pretty much up for anything. Oh, and Im a great storyteller.
People do, ultimately, what they want. And I'll be damned if I don't, too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, I am not traveling but living and working in Melbourne. I plan to build this community by spreading the word about couchsurfing to as many people as possible.
I have couchsurfed in Rio De Janeiro, Reykjavik, Western Australia, Berlin, New Zealand, all over France, and around Spain. The most memorable experiences were couchsurfing on a tiny boat in the Mediterranean with three others, couchsurfing in a campervan on the beach near Margaret River (packed in like sardines) and at an amazing flat in Barcelona, right off Las Ramblas with nine other people.
I like street markets, dancing with my eyes closed, gallery hopping, second hand treasures, printmaking, pretending my yoga mat is keeping me afloat, foreign sweets, indie/foreign films, sunsets and any photo ops, unidentifiable accents, jumping on hotel beds, dreaming about France, big boots, nice cats, little dogs, thrift store finds, good karma, mango smoothies, tropical fruits, creating awkward moments, getting caviar stuck in my teeth, smelling fragrances and cookies baking, rubbing elbows, basing my life on fortune cookie fortunes, scrabble, talking shit, pimento cheese and avocado toast and chocolate chip cookies.
