Travel a bunch, find a job- in that order.
I enjoy hearing more about you more than talking about myself. However, as a (hopefully) future host (of me) I guess I'll have to tell you a little ;) I like meeting new people and I like to try and make life a little easier for other people when I can. Want to laugh more, smile more, not take things so seriously, including me.
Everything you experience is a lesson. See what you can learn from everything and everyone you encounter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Work in progress.
Mountain biking! ah! love it! Having a little adventure every once in a while is great, trying out new sports/ activities outside is always fun but mountain biking is definitely my thing. If I could never ride a bike again then hiking, camping, surfing, rock climbing would fill that void.
I'm a recent engineering graduate. I love engineering! There's something deeply satisfying about designing something, building it and using it. I love reading about new technology and how it will impact society. Maybe one day I will get to be more directly involved in that sort of thing.
- scuba diving
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Funk, Classical, Rock, Pop, electronica, metal, folk, jazz, and all of the weird shades in between. Books, I don't read enough books. I want to work on that; His Dark Materials, Notes from the Underground, Power of One, Life of Pi, Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, Where the Red Fern Grows, Bridge to Terebithia, Berenstein Bears collection, Cloud Atlas, Perdido St. Station, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Calvin&Hobbes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm. have to work on that one. Diving in the denote in Mexico is up there. 24 hour mountain bike relay races, hiking half dome in a pair of slip-on shoes? does that count? I almost drowned while attempting to surf in double overheads once. That was crazy. And stupid.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy building things. I built a 3d printer and have a decent background in CAD to design and build random stuff. Always thinking of ways to improve the printer to make more practical things and always ready to learn what other people have thought of. Interested in learning more about sensors, actuators, micro controllers and embedded programming and all the wonderful things that can be created from a combination of those things!
