I am touring my puppet show across country on the back of my bike!

ABOUT ME

I am a 31 year old Puppeteer originally from RI.. I currently reside in Santa Cruz but am traveling in between SC and SF busking with my puppet shows loaded on the back of my bike. It's a very home-made trailer/stage and so I travel MUCH slower than the average bike tourist. I like good food, good music, good people, not into any drugs (but the green) and have a beer or wine occasionally. I smoke cigs off and on depending on my stress level. I like horror and sci-fi (the cheesier the better) some (though not much) TV and just generally being goofy.Oh yes, and I LOVE coffee!

Music: Cramps, Nina Simone, Burt Bacharach, Man or Astro Man, 4 Tops, Rev. Horton Heat, Aretha franklin, Groovie Ghoulies

Movies: Anything schlocky with lots of guts, Speed Racer, Who framed Roger Rabbit, the first Three Muppet Movies and Muppets from space. And yes, the occasional Chick Flick (I'm not scared to cry)

Books: Jim Dodge, Voltaire, "Siddhartha", "The Sound and the Fury", "A place called Awful End", anything where the protaganist kills zombies, I have yet to read a Harry Potter book!

TV: Newsradio, Twin Peaks, Mystery Science Theater, The Muppet Show, Scooby Doo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on an underwater abstract puppet show set to a 5 movement classical piece called "Symphonie fantastique".

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach writing, puppet craft, I have a BA in Early childhood education, so I can babysit/petsit and I'm totally cool with work trade Also my pop culture knowledge is STAGGERING...even to myself. I'm a great editor and well, I dunno...have me over! We'll talk.
