About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a sailor of the world, bound for all ports,...

ABOUT ME

Hello there, traveler. So what do you want to know about me? "I am large, I contain multitudes."(These past days, it seems like I can't get the ole Whitman out of my mind.) Now, I am, technically(adult and boringly) speaking, a young girl studying International Studies whose dreams, well, are constantly changing. I am constantly changing. What can I say? I consider myself not a citizen of a particular country, but a citizen of the world (yeah, I am cheesy, I know). I love traveling, but essentially, I love people, I love to communicate, to exchange, to feel, to learn, to see and experience. I love life and everything that it holds. And as I usually say, what I love to do the most is to search for and to see the beauty within everything and everyone. I think this is a good summary of my personality.

PHILOSOPHY

"Live simply so others may simply live" (Gandhi).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I don't have a couch available, I'm open to meet people in events or going for a tea, art gallery, museum, movie, etc and show what my city has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been to events and it's been really really good :)

Interests

Life, people, cultures, nature, art, photography, movies, music. To feel, to experiment, to learn, to live, to be.

Music, Movies & Books

movies: Amèlie, Billy Elliot, Into the wild, Beginners, Big Fish, Once, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, El laberinto del fauno, Big Fish, Life is beautiful, The Science of Sleep, The hedgehog, Dead Poets Society, Patch Adams, American History X, Sophie Scholl: The Final Days,... music: Árbol, Astor Piazzolla, Bebe, Belle and Sebastian, Bob Marley, Bon Iver, Bright Eyes, Café Tacuba, Calle 13, Chopin, Camera Obscura, City and Colours, Coiffeur, Coldplay (early stuff), Corinne Bailey Rae, Death Cab for Cutie, Eddie Vedder, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, Gondwana, Jack Johnson, Jamiroquai, Louis Armstrong, Martin Buscaglia, Mumford & Sons, Nick Drake, Norah Jones, Onda Vaga, Playing for Change, Pomplamoose, Tegan and Sara, The Beatles, The Head and The Heart, The Magnetic Fields, The Postal Service, Travis, Yann Tiersen,... books: I don't read as much as I used to when I was a kid so I would just say The Little Prince. Right now I'm reading (or trying to) Half the Sky.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

It is a blessing to have amazing parents that invested in travelling outside our home country since I was a little kid. Also, backpacking by myself (a long time dream I had) was simply amazing, it was incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I can say I could teach some basic skills to take photos (manually) and play the ukulele :)

I would love to learn how to play other musical instruments, how to speak other languages and how to appreciate life more :)

Countries I've Visited

Argentina, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Republic of, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I've Lived In
