I am a PhD student in political science, travelling a lot for my research. My university is based in Paris where I live officially, but I spend most of my time between Tunisia, the US, and sometimes other countries such as Egypt. My research focuses on governance.
This year, I am going to Washington DC and to Tunisia. In DC I will be at GWU and I would like to discover the city, especially concerning music, cinema, and politics !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My main travel experiences weren't with couchsurfing. I've only used it during the summer 2012 to travel in France (travelling from the center to the south by hitchhiking). It was a great experience to do it in my own country ! And I also organized some CS parties when I was in Bangkok.
But I have hosted a lot of people in my last appartement in Paris.
Travelling, cinema, music, studying social sciences (anthropology, sociology, demography, economics..), learning about politics, syndicalism, meet new people..
I really like some regions and culture like south america, spain, middle east, maghreb ..
I also love photography when I have time for it (http://www.flickr.com/photos/quentin_deforge/)
