I'm an easy-going person who loves to spend time in nature, alone or with close friends. I love to travel and meet new people, to explore and find new things, even in my own hometown. I love roller derby, hiking, camping, reading, drawing, sewing. I am a loyal friend, some say to a fault but I don't mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I was living in China I used CS as a host to find travelers needing a place to stay and looking for a new friend.

Now that I have returned to the U.S. I have a couch to offer, and I would like to start using CS as a traveler to meet new people while I travel closer to home as well.

I have always had an awesome experience hosting with CS, some of my travelers have become friends I talk to even years later.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was visiting Santa Cruz, CA and spent a morning down on West Cliff sitting on a rock and watching the ocean. I met a stranger who seemed more like an angel, from another world, and while we sat there talking and looking at the breakers a wave crested with the rising sun behind it beaming through it, carrying with it lines of kelp and a giant sea lion... held in glowing green water for us to see.... and then it was gone.
