I'm a quiet, laid back, fairly tidy person. I enjoy meeting different people. I like spending evenings indoors with a good book and a hot cup of chocolate or chai.

Interessen

I'm a scientist; I enjoy discussing philosophy. I'm an avid reader. I like to spend time close to nature, going on long walks by the lake is one of my favorite past times. Whenever possible, I love to sketch with ink or graphite pencil. I write short stories and bad poetry. I am learning how to bake. I love making food and chai for others.

Favorite books: "1984" by George Orwell and "The Night" by Elie Wiesel. All of Jane Austen especially "Sense and Sensibility", Charles Dickens, and the Bronte Sisters. The original canon of Sherlock Holmes, A.A. Milne "Now We are Six." Surprisingly, Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment", "Lord of the Rings" the trilogy (and yes, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it cover to cover), Chronicles of Narnia (the entire set); Harry Potter (guilty pleasure), Henrik Ibsen's "The Doll House", Tolstoy's "The Death of Ivan Ilyich," "The Plague" by Camus, and to cut this short: "A Tale of Melodies" by Jhumpa Lahiri.

Currently reading: Just finished "The Good Earth" by Pearl S. Buck

Poets: Robert Frost, William Shakespeare, and Henry Longfellow

Movies: Fight Club, Bloodsport II, 12 Angry Men (1957), Ever After, and Old Boy.

Shows: Psych, Arrested Development, Merlin (BBC Series), Sherlock Holmes (PBS Masterpiece; modern series).

Anime: Death Note, Bleach, Geiss, Sailor Moon, Rurouni Kenshin, Prince of Tennis,

Favorite Korean Drama Series: East of Eden. Iris.

Music: eclectic taste in music. Anything except country.
