To visit 30 countries before I am 30
I am a final year student at university in Belfast. I enjoy travelling, reading, having fun with my friends, rowing and kayaking. I recently studied in Cleveland, Ohio for 10 months and there I met a number of people from around the world. This really opened my eyes to the world and different cultures and made me even more eager to go travelling to places I haven't been before. I am going Interrailing around Europe for the first time and I cannot wait!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have never Couchsurfed before but am looking forward to getting involved. I think it is a great idea and a brilliant way to meet people and share travelling experiences.
Reading, movies, rowing, kayaking, mountain walking, going to concerts and festivals
Music, Movies, and Books
I just finished reading 'Born to Run' by Christopher McDougall which was an interesting and humourous read.
The last movie I watched was a French movie called 'Elle s'appelait Sarah' (in English: Sarah's Key). It was based on a young Jewish girl during the Vel' d'Hiv Roundup. An excellent and very touching movie.
I love music and going to concerts and festivals. I went to the Oxegen festival in Ireland for the 3rd time this year and got to see Coldplay, The National, Friendly Fires, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Weezer, Plan B and loads more. I love going to concerts, Belfast is great for that. My favourite Northern Irish Bands are Two Door Cinema Club, General Fiasco, The Emerald Armada, Sons of Caliber, 1930s and Craig McConkey.
