PHILOSOPHY

We've had a choice. We chose rejoice.
--Devendra Banhart

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one'€™s courage.
--Anais Nin

Scientists have figured out the meaning of life. It has something to do with protein.
-Vonnegut

"Thursday"

I have had my dream--like others--
and it has come to nothing, so that
I remain now carelessly
with feet planted on the ground
and look up at the sky--
feeling my clothes about me,
the weight of my body in my shoes,
the rim of my hat, air passing in and out
at my nose--and decide to dream no more.

---William Carlos Williams

The meaning of life is life and meaning.

I great at fixing flat tires. I can teach you how to contra dance, how to make some damn good soup, or offer you some skiing pointers. I'd love to talk to you about linguistics and language learning. I'm starting a hammock and tarp tent project, so any help with that is appreciated. I want to learn whatever people want to teach me. If you are passionate about something, it's infectious.
