I am a college graduate who is still trying to figure out what to do in life. In the meantime, I am spending time traveling and doing seasonal work. When I happen to be home, I am in New Orleans, but it is quite rare these days! I have found much interest in agriculture and am interested in visiting urban agriculture facilities all over the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing as a way to experience travel in a new way. I love meeting new people and learning what it is like to actually live in the cities I visit. Hanging out with locals is the best way, and also my favorite part of travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I Love folk and acoustic music, but really enjoy most types of music. I especially love watching live music! I really enjoy reading books about other cultures as well as documentaries on the same thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The coolest thing I have ever done is probably a 6 month internship in Peru. I was working with ladies who were making super cool clothing. It was an amazing experience to move somewhere barely knowing the language and be immersed in the culture. I ended up falling in love with Peru. It changed my whole perspective on life really. I am so happy to have had such an amazing opportunity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very excited to exchange languages. I know a decent amount of Spanish and am a native English speaker, and I LOVE learning knew languages because it helps me get to know a particular culture even better.
