About Me

Hi I'm currently traveling through South America for a few months and would like to stay at people's places in exchange for good chats and company. I'm an amicable and approachable person and want to travel frugally! I love meeting people from different walks of life and getting to know them even if these moments are brief and fleeting. In my experience with traveling, meeting locals has been the best way to get to know a city so it would be awesome to stay with some locals and explore the place!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on here to find locals who I can stay with and get to know and also to stay within my small travel budget so it's a win-win situation really! I've heard good things about the couchsurfing community and want to participate in it! I've also couchsurfed before (not through this platform but through friends of friends) and it was one of the best experiences that allowed me to get to know the place I was staying at a bit better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie rock, dream pop and shoegaze music are my favourite music genres. I want to read more fiction but currently I'm reading a lot of non-fiction books relating to critical theory and philosophy. I love movies and my favourite is probably the Before trilogy by Richard Linklater!
