About Me

I'm an easy-going adventurer who's always up for meeting new people and making new friends! I'm big into everything science and I adore learning new things, so I'm up for fun chats about anything and everything. I'm tidy, good with pets, and very low maintenance!

Other things --
Currently I'm travelling with my friend Kara. She's a writer and fellow lover of adventures - you couldn't ask for a better partner in crime. Like me, she's incredibly chill and is generally down for just about anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems like a great way to travel without being the stereotypical tourist -- I'd like to get to a feel for what a place is truly about, and I think the best way to do that is to meet the people living there!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Indie-folk, alternative, whatever catches my fancy! A few bands I'm into include: Alt-J, The Beatles, Kishi Bashi, Modest Mouse, Ratatat, The Andrews Sisters, Enya, Feist, Frightened Rabbit, Gorillaz, Grouplove, Mr Little Jeans, Nickel Creek

Movies:
My top three movies are Amelie, Moulin Rouge, and Edward Scissorhands. Generally I'm game for anything that's feel-good and quirky. :)

Books:
Oof, books are the greatest. It's really difficult to pick favorites, but for now... The Fountainhead, Little Women, Ender's Game, Pride and Prejudice. Also anything poetry!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Calling for barred owls in the middle of the night and having them call back to defend their territory!
