My name is Rachel (they/them), I’m 21 and am currently taking time off my studies in Victoria BC. I'm new to couch surfing so feel free to ask me any questions. I’m a dancer as well I love music (playing guitar and singing mostly). I really just adore meeting new people as sharing fun experiences especially if we can do it during outdoor activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m couch surfing to meet people and make connection, I’m travelling around quite a bit and would rather it over getting a hotel. This way we can exchange stories maybe and get some great local recommendations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play guitar and with that I gravitate towards a lot of indie folk music. Gregory Alan isokav is a favourite of mine.
Movies, I don’t watch a whole lot of tv but I love the studio Ghibli movies and anythjng robin williams! Also I watch a lot of docu series.
I love reading about local ecologies (hence environmental studies) and love a good mid evil fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something amazing I’ve done has probably been surviving multiple seasons of tree planting! Very hard word, long hard days camping with 60 other people for the summer!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach to how to pop and lock some dance moves. I absolutely adore talking philosophy of life! I’m a great listener and love to dig deep to find our common interests!
