About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a motivated, creative person. I am finishing up my BA in Environmental Studies at the University of Washington and living in the damp, green metropolis of Seattle. I've been in one place for several years now (with occasionaly trips to my hometown in CT) and the wanderlust is starting to itch... I dream of travelling down the west coast into Mexico and making my way through most of Central and South America. Some day, I will also make it to Africa.
PHILOSOPHY
Jimi Hendrix once said something to the effect of; "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, there will be peace in the world."
I believe in doing the good thing, whether or not it is the easy thing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have none yet, really, aside from the usual crashing on friends couches after a long day's delights.
Interests
I have a huge interest in sustainable food systems and local food production. I am fascinated by all forms of farming and gardening.
I love all kinds of music, and have gone to heavy metal, jazz, techno, punk shows... still gotta get in some good hiphop.
This is definitely related to my passion for dancing - the lindy-hop! I wish to travel to the hotspots of the swingdancing world one day, starting with Herrang, Sweden...
Comic books and art. I'm not so much a spandex girl (though Batman has a place in my heart) but I love graphic novels with engaging storylines and mindblowing art. I like going to art galleries and shows and spending hours in comic shops.
