About Me

Hi all! I am a passionate individual who likes to take up new challenges - that includes moving and living to new places, immersing in new cultures and meeting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I would like to be able to host people as I would like to be hosted, it is as clear as that. Plus, I'm aspiring for getting involved in much more field work within my line of work which would require moving to places often!

Interests

I love reading books, watching films, writing (poetry?), the arts in general with particular love in performance, travelling, volunteering, being surrounded with animals whenever I get a chance..and much more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm a grunge, alternative, riot grrrl which means that I would listen to whatever I like at the moment but my deep love is for 90s music, grunge rock acts (Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana etc), punk acts (Sleater Kinney, Bikini Kill etc.) and whatever fits into the alternative category (PJ Harvey!, Ani DiFranco, Anais Mitchell, Regina Spektor) and from newer ones (Shinedown, Seether, Staind, Radiohead, The White Stripes, The Black Keys...)

Movies: I have a lot of favourites...Some of them would be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Cidade de Deus, Mozart and the Whale, Project Nim etc.

Books: Hmm that's a hard one. I enjoy reading Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, George Orwell, Thomas More, Judith Butler, and the list goes on and on.. and more autobiographical like Amanda Palmer - The art of asking, Melissa Febos - Whipping Smart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed with a host family in Surkhet, Nepal in basic living conditions, I loved it!
