About Me

Ciao, piacere!
I'm Raffaele, born in Italy and raised on the Adriatic Sea (yes, it's true that you always miss the sea).
I moved to Milan when I was 18 to have my bachelor and master degree, then I stopped there to start working. After eight years in the city, I moved to Zurich to start a new chapter!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to meet new people and share a unique experience.
Also, Zurich is a beautiful city, but being so expensive it typically remain a hidden gem in Europe.
I will be happy to make you travel more affordable!

Interests

I have (and I have had) many interests and they are typically changing as the time goes by.
I was competing in athletics, then I played soccer, then I opened a YouTube channel, then I opened a website and so on. I still need to lear how to properly go on a snowboard, but I'm in the right place now.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kind of music, from the heavy metal to the classical one. If I had to pick a band it would be Radiohead.
I'm really into TV series and anime, I challenge you to binge watch something with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate three pizzas in a row.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk about literally everything: we can discuss the moral dilemma behind pineapple pizza or we can try to understand if the world is a giant simulation.
If you don't wanna get too deep you could also try to convince me that a Gin Tonic is better than a Negroni. Gook luck with that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, a place to stay. Isn't that what this website is all about?
I'm for "mi casa es to casa" philosophy, I'll try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mauritius, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland
