Interests

Food is a real passion and I've just started a food blog to record my travels around Europe. Travel is another passion (like most people on this site!) I'm also really interested in people and love making new friends. I work in a communications role in international development, and am happiest when I feel like I'm doing my bit for others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been lucky enough to meet the Dalai Lama three times... once in Dharamsala in Northern India with my family when I was 12 and twice since through a former boss... both times in lifts (elevators!) I'll explain when I meet you ;0

Recently, I became overwhelmed by how wonderful people can be when organising an event to celebrate Australia's diversity and multiculturalism. We had a high profile comedian, wonderful speakers and half a dozen bands give up their time for the cause - and all were just so happy to help and get involved. It left me a bit teary at times!
