ABOUT ME

Having grown up in a small town in rural England I decided I wanted to experience the world before settling down. I took two years out to travel after graduating from University, during which I went to places I'd never even dreamed of, met some of the most interesting and hospitable people on the planet, and realised just how lucky I am to have the opportunities I do in life.

I finished my trip in the summer of 2010 and decided to move to London, which has become one of my favourite cities in the world. It's one of those cities that grows on you the longer you spend here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't narrow it down to just one, so here is a selection:

1. Hitchhiking from London to Istanbul.
2. A horse trek through the Tien Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan.
3. Hiking through the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia.
4. Paragliding in Colombia.
5. Hitching a ride on a cargo ship from Somaliland to Yemen.
6. Scuba diving with sharks and stingray in Asia.
7. Sleeping under the stars in the mountains in Northern Iraq.
8. Visiting remote Aboriginal Communities in the Australian Outback (and getting paid to do it).
9. Getting drunk at the German Embassy in Khartoum (Sudan).
10. Going to a techno rave in the Jordanian desert.
